The three settings that actually save your battery
After testing dozens of games, I've learned that most graphics menus are full of settings that barely move the needle. But a few consistently make a real difference to how long your phone lasts.
The frame rate cap is the big one. Dropping from 60 to 30 in a game that doesn't need the speed can nearly double your play time. You'll notice it in a racer, but almost never in a puzzle or sim.
Second is any kind of dynamic lighting or particle effects toggle. These look great but hammer the GPU. Turning them to medium is usually invisible in motion and gently kind to your battery.
Third, and people forget this one: screen brightness lives outside the game but affects it more than anything in the menu. Auto-brightness plus a slightly lower ceiling beats any in-game tweak.
