About
HelixPin started as a group chat where a few of us swapped screenshots and arguments about which game deserved another evening. At some point the notes got long enough to become a website. That's basically the whole origin story.
We test on a mix of hardware, from an aging mid-range Android to a newer iPhone, because a game that runs great on one can stutter on another. When we say something feels smooth or drains the battery, it's because we watched it happen across a few sessions.,How we pick games is simple: something has to catch our attention, then survive a proper play test. We ignore hype cycles and finish enough of a game to have an opinion worth reading. If a title bores us after an hour, we say so.,Nobody here writes for a marketing department. We're players first, and the reviews reflect the way we actually hold a phone on a couch or a crowded train.
